If you have submitted a review to us, whether we publish it or not, you can REGISTER FREE here as a freelance writer or journalist.
It does not matter if you have not published before although most contributors have written professionally.
Editors of magazines and newspapers around the world will read our pages. If they like your reviews they may want you to write for them too.
After all, if you are an editor of an English language publication in Singapore or Toronto and want someone to write a review of the latest Royal Academy art exhibition in London, why trawl through your address books for a contact in Britain. Instead click on ART SHOWS and see who is writing about British exhibitions. If you like their work you may be able to contact them through WORLD REVIEWS, if they are registered, and commission them directly.
We are a showcase for good English language writing without the constraint of our writers having to be full-time paid journalists in order to be read alongside the best.
So, for example, if you are a student journalist writing great reviews you may find yourself being commissioned by a publication somewhere rather exciting. You may even be offered a staff post, in which case the publication will have saved a great deal of money on recruitment costs and you a lot of time sending out career details.
To REGISTER FREE enter the following details in the text box below in the following order on separate lines :
1. Your name.
2. Your e-mail address.
3. The name of the country in which you live.
4. Your address (optional).
5. Your telephone number (optional).
6. Your fax number (optional).
7. Up to 200 words on your journalistic experience (optional).
We will only forward the information that you have supplied to us to the publications making enquiries. You may consider an active e-mail address sufficient contact information.
Do include some brief information that might be of interest to editors about your journalistic experience. However, there is a limit on the number words that the text box will accept so no curriculum vitae please; the excess words will be deleted.
If you are contacted by a publication it is up to you to negotiate and agree terms yourself.
Finally, if you have not already done so, remember to send us a review for publication on the website. It is the visible evidence for editors that you can write.

HELPFUL NOTE : Some mail clients, particularly AOL, may cause an e-mail dialog box to appear when the Submit Registration Information button above is pressed. It is, therefore, sensible to store the information you are sending on your pasteboard - if you have just typed it in - so that you can paste it into the dialog box should one appear. If you are an editor or publisher who wishes to contact one of our authors please send us a message using the text box above.
Please include your name, the name of your publication, the country it is based in, your e-mail address and as much contact information as possible.
Tell us which writers you are interested in and we will e-mail you back to say whether they are on our register. If you then wish to contact them World Reviews will charge you a flat fee for each writer's registration details you wish to be supplied with. These fees help towards our editing costs.
You are also responsible for negotiating terms yourself with writers. Fees paid to World Reviews, once received, cannot be returned for any reason, for example, because the writer cannot be contacted or is unavailable to write.
